I'm in my 30s and have always struggled with hormonal acne. When I say I've tried everything, I've tried EVERYTHING! Topical, oral, OTC, prescriptions from my family doctor, OBGYN, dermatologist... I was so embarrassed by my skin and hated going to work or being out in public when I was having a bad breakout, especially in the summer when I knew I'd sweat all of my makeup off.
My expectations for Dermala weren't very high considering how many times my hopes had been crushed every time I tried a new "miracle" product. But this one finally made a difference! My skin is not 100% clear, but usually 90-95% with this supplement included in the winning combo that took me years of trial and error to nail down:
- Dermala DIM supplement
- Oral birth control
- Vitamin E oil applied directly to my face at night to help my skin heal
- Liquid collagen/biotin added to my daily flavored water drinks
- Overnight acne patches when needed during my cyclical breakouts
Adding the collagen/biotin to the combo was the boost that really did the trick. To try and save myself some money, I postponed my Dermala shipment to see if the collagen/biotin was enough to keep my skin clear on its own. It wasn't. My breakouts started to worsen again. Once I added Dermala's DIM supplement back into the mix, my skin cleared back up. Like I said, I'm not 100% clear, but it's SO much better than it used to be, and I no longer have the deep, painful, persistent cystic acne that would take a week or more to heal. Now when I break out around my menstrual cycle, the pimples are small little whiteheads that clear up very quickly, especially if I treat them with overnight patches. My self-confidence is coming back!

There have been a few times when I suddenly noticed a pesky pimple popping up that surely wouldn't have healed without the draining power of one of those tiny circular covers. Even the most tender ones were quickly healed. These are a must have to keep on hand.
